Welcome to Shining Stars Nursery
Shining Stars Day Nursery opened in August 2004. The building was originally an office block, which has been lovingly transformed into a fabulous, bright and colourful nursery.
Nursery provision for the under 3's is situated on the ground floor. This ensures that the nursery children can gain easy access into our large secure garden. The garden has a safe and soft artificial grassed area with picnic tables, where the children can take part in activities or eat their meals in the fine weather (if we are lucky to have any). There is also a tarmac area for children to ride the bikes and trikes and other various toys.
Also located on the ground floor, is our large dining room, where the children can eat their meals away from their room in a happy and socal atmosphere.
Next to reception you will find our pram room where you can store your car seats, prams and trolleys.
On the first floor, we have a very large room for our pre-school children which is richly resourced also provides a seperate area for quiet times.
One of our main priorities here at Shining Stars Day Nursery, is to ensure that all parents feel confident and happy at leaving their child in our care for the day.
We have therefore provided a Parent's Room, where you can sit and watch your child on our nursery camera system whilst your child is settling into nursery. The nursery also allow parents limited access to view the cameras online so that you can watch your child in nursery while you are at home or work.
